Presentation of ArtVilnius and Art Fairs in the Regions

The ArtVilnius Contemporary Art Fair Team Invites You to a Regional Meeting in Panevėžys

For many years, we’ve been thrilled to have active participation from Panevėžys artists, local galleries, and now the newly opened Stasys Museum at the ArtVilnius art fair. Now, it’s time to meet not in Vilnius, but in your city. We warmly invite the Panevėžys cultural community, artists, art patrons, business representatives, and all art lovers to get to know the ArtVilnius fair team in person.

Date: April 25, 2025 (Friday), 2:00 PM
Location: Stasys Museum, Respublikos g. 40, Panevėžys (Education Space)
Admission: Free and open to all

During the event, you’ll be the first to hear about the key highlights of this year’s fair program, have the opportunity to ask questions, and learn how to become part of Lithuania’s largest visual art event.

Participants:

• Diana Stomienė – Founder and Director of ArtVilnius, President of the Lithuanian Art Gallerists’ Association. Diana will share insights into the fair’s successful journey that began in 2009, the fair’s impact on the art market, evolving trends in art patronage and support, and the growing traditions around art fairs.

• Sonata Baliuckaitė – Artistic Director of ArtVilnius, curator of exhibitions and projects. Sonata will present this year’s fair highlights, special guests, guided tour opportunities, and discussions. Artists and gallery representatives will also learn how to submit a successful application to ArtVilnius or other international art fairs.

• Egidijus Žukauskas – Head of Panevėžys Art Gallery and Chairman of the Board of the Lithuanian Art Gallerists’ Association. Egidijus will speak about the activities of the association, its members, and the role of a gallerist in art fairs.

• Vaida Andrijauskaitė – Director of Stasys Museum, who will talk about the museum’s growing partnership with ArtVilnius and how showcasing the work of artist Stasys Eidrigevičius at the fair evolved into a long-term institutional collaboration.
