On June 18, Stasys Museum welcomed a distinguished guest – H.E. Shinsuke Shimizu, Ambassador of Japan to Lithuania, who became acquainted with the museum’s activities and visited its exhibitions.
The Ambassador was welcomed by Stasys Museum Director Vaida Andrijauskaitė and museum guide and educator Veronika Kaminskaitė. During the visit, the guest was introduced to the museum’s vision, directions of activity, and the works of Stasys Eidrigevičius and Linas Leonas Katinas.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to share insights on the significance of art and culture in contemporary society, establish new connections, and present the museum as an important centre of contemporary culture in Lithuania.
The Stasys Museum team is pleased to welcome distinguished guests and looks forward to further strengthening cultural ties through future projects.
