Dream Creation Workshop 

Practical workshop with Virginija Vareikytė

During the workshop, participants will share their dreams and explore how dream material can become a source of creativity. This process is based on a structured listening method – using specifically formulated questions, precise wording, and a clear methodological framework that allows unexpected creative forms to emerge from the dream. The dreamer’s recorded words are returned to them in a chosen form – read aloud, sung, acted out, drawn, or otherwise – depending on the form selected by the dreamer. Participants will work in pairs, taking turns in both roles: that of the dream-sharer and that of the creator working with the dream material. 

Virginija Vareikytė is a documentary filmmaker, intimacy coordinator in film and theatre, and facilitator. She is the creator of FUEL, a self-development workshop held at the National Gallery of Art in Vilnius in 2025. She is currently studying somatic sexology and developing a practice that combines storytelling, intimacy, and physicality.

Practical workshop is a part of the public program accompanying the exhibition Another Turn of the Sleepers.
