On January 28, the Lithuanian Embassy in Poland hosted the launch of Stasys Eidrigevičius’ book “Hommage à Čiurlionis.”
The event featured remarks from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Poland, Valdemaras Sarapinas; the Lithuanian Cultural Attaché in Poland, Ana Kočegarova-Maj; and the curator of the exhibition “Stasys Eidrigevičius. Hommage à Čiurlionis,” Kristina Liepinaitė. The presentation was moderated by Aleksandra Kalina.
Addressing a large audience of art enthusiasts, the artist introduced his trilingual publication, which highlights the creative connections between Stasys Eidrigevičius and Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis — from shared themes and metaphorical expression to elements of Lithuanian folklore and the unique dialogue between painting and music.
The book is available for purchase in the Stasys Museum online store.
