“Stasys Museum is truly a museum for all of us,” says the director of “Stasys Museum,” Vaida Andrijauskaitė, inviting volunteers who want to and can join the museum’s opening activities and ongoing operations to sign up for the “Our Museum” volunteer program.

According to the museum director, although the building’s doors are still closed and the exhibition is being prepared, the museum is opening its heart to volunteers and inviting them to help get ready for the museum’s opening, assist during events, and support educators.

Therefore, “Our Museum” welcomes people of all ages to volunteer, assisting in museum events, celebrations, and other projects. We are looking for school students, students, youth, middle-aged individuals, and seniors – we will offer everyone interested exciting and meaningful work tailored to their age and abilities.

Volunteers are offered the following opportunities:

  • Free access to the museum during the volunteering period;
  • Free participation in “Pragiedrulių” educational activities during the volunteering period;
  • “My Museum” package: t-shirt, bag, notebook, mug;
  • A certificate confirming volunteer work in Lithuanian and English;
  • A motivated and positive team led by an experienced volunteer program manager.

Those interested are invited to fill out a questionnaire.

For any questions, please contact the volunteer manager Linas Karpauskas at savanoriai@stasysmuseum.com.

V. Andrijauskaitė reminds the community of passive forms of support, as the museum is actively seeking sponsors and patrons. “If volunteering is not part of the personal plans of Panevėžys residents or city guests, but there is a desire to contribute to the development of the museum’s activities, we kindly invite you to allocate 1.2% of your personal income tax (GPM) to the ‘Stasys Eidrigevičius Arts Center’ (STASYS MUSEUM) when filling out your annual income tax declaration. A narrow line in the declaration will open broader possibilities for the museum to carry out educational activities, and we will be grateful for targeted support,” urges the museum director.
