Panevėžys Tourism Information Center is relocating to the Stasys Museum

As the summer season reaches its peak and the influx of visitors to Panevėžys continues to grow, there’s good news for both city guests and residents. Starting from July 23rd, the Panevėžys Tourism Information Center will be relocating to a new location – the recently opened “Stasys Museum” (Respublikos str. 40, Panevėžys). Here, the tourism information specialists from the Panevėžys Development Agency “Panevėžys NOW” will be ready to provide visitors with the most up-to-date information about attractions, events, dining, and accommodation options in Panevėžys city and the surrounding area. If needed, they can also help plan a personalized travel route in the Panevėžys region, book desired tours or educational activities. For the convenience of travelers, the latest city maps and other tourist publications will also be available.

“The Panevėžys Tourism Information Center has been operating in Laisvės Square for more than two decades, becoming an important attraction for both tourists and residents looking to rediscover their city or region. However, as the city renews and travelers’ habits change, we must also keep up. We are grateful to our colleagues – the “Stasys Museum” team – for kindly agreeing to cooperate in ensuring the continued operation of the Panevėžys Tourism Information Center in the museum’s spaces. The new location will be more representative and convenient for visitors. Moreover, by working in the city’s most visited spot, we will strive to ensure that visitors leave the museum determined to spend not just half a day but the entire weekend in Panevėžys city and region. Encouraging tourists to take full advantage of the wide range of services offered in the city and region is one of our main objectives,” says “Panevėžys NOW” Director Monika Miniotaitė.

With the change of address, tourism information specialists will be available in the first-floor area of the “Stasys Museum.” The Panevėžys Tourism Information Center will operate with new hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 17:00. It is anticipated that during the transitional period, working hours will be adjusted based on visitor flow to better meet customer needs.
