This Friday, May 31, the latest contemporary art museum, the ‘Stasys Museum,’ will open its doors to the public in Panevėžys. The three-day opening program will feature a special video projection directed by Donatas Ulvydas, showcasing the creation of the museum’s fresco. The concept of the projection is by Dalius Abaris. Everyone is invited to view the projection on May 31 and June 1 from 10 PM to 11 PM at Respublikos g. 40.
‘This weekend, we invite all residents and visitors of Panevėžys to take a curious look at the museum both from the inside and outside. The impressive large-format video artwork, which will be broadcast on Friday and Saturday evenings, will reflect Stasys Eidrigevičius’ creative process in creating the main fresco located on the museum’s first floor,’ says Vaida Andrijauskaitė, Director of the Stasys Museum.
The impact of the video projection will be enhanced by sonnets dedicated to Stasys Eidrigevičius’ work, written by local poet Bronius Kutavičius. The director of the work is Donatas Ulvydas, with the concept by Dalius Abaris.
The video lasts 10 minutes and will be repeated. Visitors are welcome at Respublikos g. 40 from 10 PM to 11 PM. Please note that the broadcast times may be adjusted due to weather conditions.
