Festive Weekend at Stasys Museum: Surprises for Visitors and Free Sunday

Between the major holidays of the year, Stasys Museum in Panevėžys invites visitors to enjoy a cozy and inspiring time with art. On December 27–28, the museum is hosting a festive weekend open to both the local community and visitors to the city.

During the last weekend of December, the museum team will invite visitors to capture memories: a photo mirror will be set up in the first-floor foyer, allowing guests to take photos with family or friends and keep a festive souvenir. Both children and adults will also be delighted by complimentary “TuTu” lollipops offered during the holiday period.

The festive atmosphere of the museum is enhanced by a composition of live Christmas trees. The Stasys Museum team extends sincere thanks to Augalų ūkis for contributing to the creation of a warm and natural holiday environment.

“At this time, the museum becomes not only a place of culture, but also a place of calm. During the holidays, many people return to Panevėžys—this is a great opportunity to visit the museum together with family, see the exhibitions currently on display, stroll through the beautifully decorated city, and discover meaningful activities between the holidays,” invites Stasys Museum Director Vaida Andrijauskaitė.

Currently on display at the museum are exhibitions by Stasys Eidrigevičius: Hommage à Čiurlionis and ICON–O–STASYS, as well as the Children’s Forest Pavilion.

New Online Shop and the 2026 Calendar

For the ninth time, Stasys Eidrigevičius presents a limited-edition wall calendar. This year’s theme is music. The high-quality, bilingual, artistic wall calendar by Stasys Eidrigevičius is now available at the Stasys Museum shop.

This is the ninth calendar published by Apostrofa, presenting various themes of Stasys’s work: the first two (2019) were dedicated to his latest pastels and art for children; the third (2020) to poster art; the fourth (2021) to masks; the fifth (2022) to the theme of eyes; the sixth (2023) to cats and rabbits; the seventh to collages; the eighth to birds; and this year’s calendar focuses on the theme of music.

The latest calendar features pastels by Stasys Eidrigevičius created between 1986 and 2018.

The museum’s new online shop also offers gift vouchers, scented candles, books, and organic wool blankets.
