Stasys Museum Opening

Stasys Museum announces its opening program “Stasys Museum” opening to the public on May 31 announces its opening weekend program. Starting Friday, May 31 from 11:00 a.m., guests will be welcomed to the museum and invited to explore its first exhibition “ICON-O-STASYS”, presenting the work of Stasys Eidrigevičius, whom they will be able to greet personally. On the weekend of May 31 – June 2 everyone having purchased a museum ticket will be able to participate in free author tours, special activities for children and attend meetings with S. Eidrigevičius. Visitors wishing to take part in the mentioned activities are invited to register in advance.

Stasys Museum’s opening weekend welcomes everyone interested in art, architecture, and new experiences. The museum’s debut exhibition “ICON-O-STASYS”, curated by Lina Albrikienė and Ignacy Eidrigevičius, son of S. Eidrigevičius, will be exhibited on three floors of the museum and will cover an area exceeding 1000 square meters. The exhibition will stimulate the imagination of visitors with diverse artistic solutions and techniques that the artist is acclaimed for.

Guests who have registered in advance will have the opportunity to participate in free author tours, educations and meetings led by S. Eidrigevičius himself, “Stasys Museum” director Vaida Andrijauskaitė and curator Lina Albrikienė. Special tours for foreign guests will be conducted in English.
